 My 'black cherry' tomato plant has tons of little green tomatoes.... Yesterday I picked 6 black ones, ready to eat.  I'd been waiting for days, finally remembered that these weren't going to get 'red' like normal cherry tomatoes!  I see some more here that are just about ready!  I've got easily 10 dozen tomatoes on this plant!

 Right now, my zucchini plants are huge, but no fruit yet... Kale just got planted a few days ago...Green beans are gonna be ready to pick soon! And we've been eating spinach for a few weeks.

 Squash... is it acorn? or butternut? I've got both....

 Christmas time in Florida... it had to be another 80* day here...

 We even wrapped one of our palms this year.....

 My mother bought me a wreath from Home Depot... I love the smell of fresh cut evergreens... That is the smell of Christmas!  I found these cute snowflake LED lights this year...

 Here's what will be my parent's bedroom... It's where I've been working--- from taping, sanding and priming/painting the walls and ceiling {my father painted the beams}... To tiling this floor.... time to grout it. But first, I'm gonna get our 3rd bathroom grouted.

Slow Down!!!

That's what I need to do!! {SLOW DOWN!}  Life is going so fast... I think I'm on a merry-go-round that is spinning out of control!  There's so much to do and so little time to do it.

Last Saturday, I took my parents to the boat parade in town.

 The next day, this cute girl visited us for a bit.... This is my husband's newest grand-daughter.  Baby Ella.

 Here's my youngest grandson {he's 4 months older than Ella}~~~  Ezra Marcelo.  He was so excited to wrap the lights around his neck.

 Tonight we went to the Christmas Parade~~ So much fun.  And got to see some good friends there, too.

 We went to a local harvest festival, mainly because we saw that they were offering free hot air balloon rides!
It was tethered to the ground, so it only went up a few feet---maybe 20-30 feet? I'm not sure. Hard to judge!

 This little guy has just been noticing the sky the past month or so.  So, you know that when we heard about this opportunity, we had to take him "Up in the Sky!"   That's one of our favorite sayings, right now! We'll say it, and he'll point his cute, chubby little finger up in the air, and tilt his little baby head back so he can see up high!

This was the first day we got to meet the 2 girls! Baby Ella is 7 months here.... {4 months younger than my grandson.} And so cute. She sure looks a lot like her daddy! {And he sure looked a lot like his daddy's baby photos!}

                      Somewhere, on someone's blog, I think I read 'pink pumpkins'.... But, I don't know...

Autumn means pumpkin!

I love the colors of fall. 

Here's some of my favorite autumn fat quarters, in front of a beautiful Vermont Fall photo....

 A friend of mine went up north this summer, and brought me back some Pumpkin Butter from Intercourse, PA / Amish Country!  And my daughter grabbed these Thomas' Pumpkin Spice Bagels for me, yesterday! YUM! Breakfast was yummy this morning!

Last week, for my birthday, my daughter, Beverly, sent me this Pumpkin Spice liquid for my coffee! Yummy, she knows pumpkin's my favorite!

Carrot/Pumpkin Cookies, with orange icing

Rainy days here, make me want to bake! Since I had found a carrot cookie recipe online last night, and scribbled it on a piece of scrap paper, that would be what I'd be baking today....

 First I threw dinner together, including preparing some carrots...{this recipe I'd found said they'd used canned carrots for the "1 cup of mashed carrots" that it called for.  We don't do much of any canned goods here, but always have fresh carrots around.}

 Once the mixer was running, Arianna came to see what was going on... By this time, the dough was ready to spoon onto sheets... She helped do that, and together we made the orange icing.  In 10 min. the first sheets were coming out of  the oven, and the cookies cooled quick enough that she was put to work icing them...

  I pulled out some of my cute fall dishes to put the iced cookies on.

 a drizzling rain, all day here... cancelled our plans of a day at the beach!

       one of my favorite flowers, is this---a Gerbera Daisy.  I'm so happy to see another blossom ready to open on this one!                       

and the invincible vincas.... through out the hot, HOT, HOT Summer Days, they've blossomed continually.
