Tasha Tudor's Birthday was 8/28... I made candles that day...
Well, one of these days, maybe I'll learn how to post pix better..... These are all backwards.....
As you can see here, after making the candles, the next night, I "grunged" them!!! I love "grubby" or "grungy" candles!!

ReplyDeleteI remember in high school ( this was back in the mid 60s ) putting ice in a cardboard milk carton and pouring hot wax over it along with glitter, etc. to make a sort of hollow candle. It was very decorative and 'in' then. I remember thinking it looked like the castle in Disney movies.
Now I prefer the grubby candles and nothing quite so big or ornate, but those were the days! LOL ★Linda★
